In 2008 the first steps to form an association were taken after many years of suggestions, that a body be formed to represent those therapists who have trained and subsequently qualified as professionals with the college of Smart Bowen.

Although able to gain membership with the Bowen Federation of Australia Inc., they were looking for an association that reflected their background training and professional life, in particular the animal therapists were looking for more recognition in the field/s they had chosen. This reflection can be seen with the animal theme running through the pages, do not let this distract you from the many human therapists who wish to be represented as well.

This site is dedicated to ALL those outstanding therapists who so passionately devote themselves to the care, health and wellbeing of others.

Smart Bowen Therapy International College is one of a minority of training institutions globally that offer programs in Equine, Small Animal and Human Bowen Therapy. Being nationally accredited, the level of training is high and the students who graduate are amongst the very best representing Bowen Therapy in Australia and overseas.

Many of the animal therapists hold qualifications in the human fields of Bowen, and vice versa with the human therapists, making them extremely well rounded, knowledgeable and very versatile Bowen Therapists.
